Making an Appointment

When making an appointment, identify the office nearest your home location or most convenient for you and contact that Medical Centre to make the appointment. Please be aware that the IPS office in the Perth CBD is for special training and programming and is NOT used as a regular treatment office.

Fees

We encourage prospective clients to discuss with their GP their mental health needs in order to obtain a GP Mental Health Plan (GPMHP). With this referral Medicare will reimburse $137.05 for an hour of consultation with a Clinical Psychologist.  An additional out of pocket expense will be assessed at the time of the initial appointment (approximately $75.00-$85.00). This fee is designed to be affordable for all individuals seeking psychological services. Additional consideration for the fee is given to the type of service being requested (Psychological Reports, Family Court Reports, ADHD assessments, couples therapy, school visits, telephone consultations).

All fees are to be paid at the time of service. Eftpos is available and payment in cash is acceptable (exact fee is necessary as no cash is kept on the premises). Payments using cheques are not acceptable.

Cancellation Fee

A cancellation fee exists if an individual, after making an appointment, does not contact the medical centre where they made their appointment within 24 hours of the appointment to cancel the appointment. A reminder text is sent to the individual 48 hours prior to the appointment as a courtesy. It is up to the individual to remember their appointment. The cancellation fee is $124.00.
